Disney World
For years,
millions of people have come to the
Walt
Disney World Resort on vacation, which is
well known across the whole world. Since its
grand opening in 1971 with the
Magic Kingdom,
Disney World has really became a world of its
own with three other theme-parks;
Epcot
(1982), Disney-MGM Studios (1989),
Disney's Animal Kingdom
(1998). The Disney
company itself has expanded across the globe by
spreading its wings with
The Kingdom of
Dreams and Magic in Tokyo;
Disneyland in
Paris; and in its newest edition,
Disneyland in Hong Kong. Apart from all
these other great Disney locations, the Disney
World Resort in Orlando, Florida is the Mecca of
Disney Parks. It is also the largest theme park
and resort complex on earth.

Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is the location of
the very famous Cinderella’s
Castle. With rides, shows, and
the chance to see all of the
Disney characters walking around
and greeting park-goers, you
will be submerged into what
Disney is all about. Go into the
Haunted Mansion
but try
not to get too scared, or
Splash Mountain
where you
drop 5 stories to a water
drenching finish. Magic Kingdom
is also home to Space Mountain,
Disney’s indoor roller coaster
where you ride in the dark with
stars and space all around you.
This is a fairly big park so
plan to stay here for a while,
and don’t forget to watch the
character parade usually held
two to three times a day. The
parade is a favorite with the
kids and is an experience that
they will never forget.

MGM-Studios
The excitement
in MGM makes it one of the most popular theme
parks in Disney World. It features rides such as
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
and
The
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. The rushes of
adrenaline you get from these two rides are
perfect to help you loosen up to your
long-awaited vacation. MGM is also known for its
great shows like Indiana Jones Epic Stunt
Spectacular! where fire, action, and
excitement are all combined to make the show as
great as it is. Fantasmic!
is also one of
the featured shows at MGM where you could cheer
on Mickey as he goes up against and defeats an
evil dragon.

feels to take off in a real
spaceship and
Test Track,
when you go up to 60mph on
the track. However, prepare
yourself because these rides are
sure to raise your adrenaline
and your hands may also hurt
from gripping the handrails. If
rides don’t strike your fancy,
you are still in luck. Take a
walk through the
World
Showcase
which features 11
countries and each one is set up
to give the most realistic
environment. You also have the
chance to get a taste of the
beer and food from every
country. When you come to Epcot
be sure to stay until the night
to catch the beautiful
Illuminations
laser and
fireworks show that goes
perfectly in sync with music. It
is a fireworks show like no
other.
