Disney's Blizzard Beach is great for small kids, teens and parents alike. And, unlike the big Walt Disney parks, you can view each of the rides before deciding what to try based on how brave you are feeling. The attention to detail in theme-ing the park to make it seem like a winter wonderland makes it a real winner. |

| Melt-Away Bay - This huge one-acre pool positioned against the base of Mt. Gushmore is constantly fed by the "melting snow of glaciers" waterfalls. There's gentle wave action, but don't expect to do any body surfing. It's quite exhilarating and relaxing. |

| Chair Lift - A real chair lift with colorful overhead umbrellas and snow skis mounted on the underside. These lifts will carry you over the jagged face of Mt. Gushmore, traveling from its base at the beach to its summit. No infants are allowed to ride. | ||||
| Cross Country Creek - Hop into a free inner tube and enjoy a leisurely float along the 3,000+ foot creek that circles around Blizzard Beach. If you happen to forget that you're in a "ski resort", then you'll get a blasting reminder when you pass through the ice cold drips in the cold cave. | ||||
